On June 6th, I had the joy of returning home to one of my favorite places, Maria’s Bookshop in beautiful downtown Durango, for a special book signing event. What started as a cozy author meet-and-greet turned into an unforgettable afternoon filled with laughter, music, and incredible community support.
To my delight, the Durango Barbershoppers stopped by and serenaded us right outside the store! Their harmonies brought a magical energy to the signing, and I couldn’t help but sing along with them. It was one of those rare and wonderful moments that make live events so special.
Even more exciting? We sold out! Every copy of my books flew off the table before the event wrapped. I was overwhelmed (in the best way) by the kindness of everyone who came out to chat, buy a book, or simply show support.
