Taryn O'Kelly Mystery Series
Reader Reviews
“In addition to loving the setting, the mystery captured my attention and had me turning the pages quickly. The characters were also lovely – Taryn and Alex are delightful together.” -Sarah Can’t Stop Reading Books
Description
Wildfires weren’t part of Taryn O’Kelly’s summer plans. Neither was arson.
When a string of suspicious fires forces the evacuation of Silver Springs’ beloved KOA Campground, Taryn’s long-planned summer kick-off picnic goes up in smoke. But when an insurance adjuster vanishes in the chaos, it becomes clear this disaster isn’t just natural, it’s personal.
Determined to protect her town and her livelihood. Taryn starts digging for answers. What she finds is a tangled mess of corporate land grabs, bitter zoning disputes, and secrets certain people would rather see reduced to ashes. Even the town’s infamous prankster, Jason Moon, seems to know more than he’s saying.
With tensions rising and the future of Silver Springs on the line, Taryn must follow a trail of clues that grows more dangerous by the day. Because someone is willing to let the whole mountain burn to make sure the truth never comes to light.
Author’s Note:
It felt so good to return to Silver Springs for this story. We haven’t spent time here since Book 1, and I’ve missed the mountains, the community, and the heart of this little town.
One of my favorite things about writing this book was seeing Taryn’s family really rally around her, along with her growing circle of friends. What started as Taryn and Kandice solving mysteries together is slowly turning into something bigger, a whole group stepping in to help protect the town they love.
In my mind, they’re becoming a bit like a mystery-solving crew… think the cast of Friends meets Scooby-Doo.
