In my book, a simple getaway turns deadly when a crew member mysteriously dies. Taryn quickly realizes that some of the people onboard aren’t who they seem.

Unlike a traditional police procedural, a mystery set on a cruise ship has an added challenge. There’s no full-scale forensic lab, no local police department, and limited authority figures. This forces amateur sleuths like Taryn to rely on observation, deduction, and quick thinking rather than modern technology.
